There’s nothing that we love better than a weekend trip to Swan Valley. And Bailey Brewing Co is one of the newest hot spots. Located on a 10-acre property at the corner of Park and West Swan Road this family-run operation is brewing great beer, dishing up epic feeds and ticks all the boxes for family-friendly.
With a huge variety of local producers of wine, beer and gin in the Swan Valley region we are certainly spoilt for choice. Whilst many of the wineries offer fine dining and wine tasting, it’s the breweries with their casual dining, tap beer and family-friendly grounds that are gaining in popularity.
History of Bailey Brewing Co.
Founded by a father and his two sons (Geoff, Steve & Dan Bailey), the trio were home brewing for a few years before buying the Swan Valley ‘backyard’ to establish Bailey Brewery Co. With a mantra of easy drinking craft beers, no pretentious menus, no queuing nonsense and easy parking they wanted a place where all their guests could enjoy a great day out without a hole in their wallet.

And we reckon they’ve achieved this goal. With stunning gardens and lots of shaded tables, it’s a perfect place to meet up with mates (with kids) and enjoy a great beer while the kids play on the nature playground. With such a fun and clever design the playground features vintage trucks, a flying fox, water play, slide, basket swing and balancing beams.
There’s seating inside, on the veranda, out by the playground and around the bell tower (where we sat). Another feature we love seeing now popping up all around Perth is that Bailey Brewing Co. offers contactless table ordering. So you can order and pay as you go (awesome for group bill splitting).
How cute are these little kids-sized picnic tables that are scattered around the grounds that can be positioned right next to your table so your kids can enjoy their own space!

The menu isn’t fancy, just honest pub grub! But with flatbread, burgers, pizza, schnitty, chips, pasta and a few other grill options, you’ll be sure to find something for everyone. There are also plenty of gluten-free and vegetarian dishes. And in keeping with their family-friendly vibe, there’s a reasonably priced kids menu.
We really enjoyed our visit to Bailey Brewing Co. It’s a one-stop-shop for good food, great beer and fun vibes. The setting was beautiful and it was a very relaxed lunch. We can’t wait to visit again soon!
